Cupcakes make me happy
These were fun/time consuming to make. But if you have an extra 3 hours to devote to baked goods, this is a yummy and visually pleasing treat!
I made the cupcakes with a store bought cake mix, and I will never make that mistake again. If they are pretty, they need to taste good too. Just make them from scratch, okay?
The frosting is a homemade buttercream colored with Wilton Pink. I used edible glitter on them to make them sparkle! Ooooohhh prettyyyyy.
I completely screwed up the fondant flowers, so I purchased dogwood blossoms instead. Please don't eat the flowers. And if you do, just go ahead and eat the ribbon too...
I hot glued the ribbon on after the cupcakes were baked, but before I frosted them. The glue does not soak through the cupcake liner, and all you need is a little dot.
Happy cupcake making/eating too many/purging.

What's worse than a dirty ceiling fan??
Cleaning a dirty ceiling fan!!
It is always a bigger job than just the fan, because the army of dust raids your floors, counters, beds, or carpet. Well those soldiers are MIA now because I've found a new way to combat them! Using an old pillow case, cover your fan blades and wipe them clean with your hands and fingers. Not only does the dust stay contained, but every crevice of your fan is spotless! When finished, turn your pillow case inside out and shake off the dust outside. Don't forget to launder inside out as well.

Don't shoot your kids
with anything but this new point and shoot camera available at Costco.com. Canon's SD1100 with Image Stabilization is a pocket size camera, that won't empty your pockets. Available in silver, blue, pink, and brown, it packs a punch with it's 8.0 MP's, and a DIGIC III Image processor. My favorite part about this little guy? It comes with a lithium ion battery pack, and charger! Oh, and Costco is throwing in a free 2 gig SD card with purchase. How thoughtful of them.
Happy Anything!!
What a fun way to give a gift! These personalized Visa Gift Cards from GiftCards.com are my new favorite way to send a gift for a birthday, anniversary, or anything else worth celebrating with cold hard cash. Spend the bucks, then save the card for a cute keepsake. Available in any denomination between $20 and $500.
